The tomb of King Ramses III is the longest in comparison to the others we visited in the Valley of the Kings, (Ramses IV & Ramses IΧ), with a length of 188m. It also has a larger number of annexes on the corridor sides and leads to the burial chamber. The entrance to the burial chamber is not allowed and the room is totally empty and dark. According to the sign on the wooden door of the chamber, its findings are exhibited in various museums (his sarcophagus in the Louvre, the lid in Cambridge) and the Pharaoh’s mummy in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

The tomb is decorated with colorful frescoes depicting hieroglyphics, scenes from the Book of the Dead and other holy Books and from various ceremonies and rituals.
